In addition to training and experience working with learning disabilities, we have personal experience parenting a child with learning issues, who has overcome many challenges. With all the choices out there, why should you choose to work with HOLS? Our philosophy at Hands On Learning Solutions is simple. Work with each child as if they were our own. Care about each client as if they were the only one. Believe that each person has great potential to rise above their challenges. And bring together integrated methods that complement each other to achieve our goal.
From the very first meeting, we immediately felt right at home. Laura, the owner, is incredibly knowledgeable, kind, and patient. She gave us hope for our son’s future, and that has made all the difference.
He’s now better able to manage his stress and anxiety, regulate his emotions, and understand what dyslexia is and how it affects him. This self-awareness has helped him face challenges with more confidence and resilience. His self-esteem has improved so much, and he’s finally approaching reading—and learning in general—with a positive attitude.
Finding this service has been a true gift for our family, and we wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone who has a child struggling. Our only wish is that we had found it sooner.
